Why We Chose to Donate

When we decided to donate our remaining embryos, we knew it would be a life-changing decision—but not just for us. Like many families, our journey to parenthood wasn’t easy. It took countless doctor appointments, heartbreaks, and leaps of faith. When we finally completed our family, we found ourselves with embryos still frozen in time.

At first, we weren’t sure what to do. Keeping them indefinitely didn’t feel right and discarding them felt even harder. We then learned about embryo donation, and everything clicked. Instead of holding on to the “what ifs,” we could give these embryos a chance to become something more.

Knowing that these embryos could bring joy to another family brings us immense peace. Watching our own children grow has been the greatest adventure of our lives and sharing that gift with someone else feels like our way of paying it forward. Our hope is that another family, somewhere, will soon know the magic of hearing their baby’s first giggle. We are forever grateful for this opportunity to complete someone else’s story.
